the island of Grenada is ideal for hiking. From the exciting and
dramatic terrain of the interior and Grand Etang National Park to the
many trails and views of the island, there is certainly plenty to see
and to experience.
The north of Grenada is relatively unspoilt and
opportunities for sighting wildlife, such as one of the nine varieties
of hummingbird on Grenada are endless. There are a number of walks
close to Petite Anse, including a 3 mile trail that has been reclaimed
from nature.
If you prefer to move faster and take part in a
"run" or even a walk - then join Grenada's Hash House Harriers on
their bi-monthly event. Be careful though... this event involves
visiting several rum shops.
