Welcome to Petite Anse, St Patrick's, Grenada.
Philip Clift and Annie Farey
Philip Clift (a former farmer and hotelier from England) and his partner Annie (a former nurse from England) have started a new and exciting project. After spending five years running a charter yacht in the Caribbean, based out of the British Virgin Islands, they are creating a unique resort in Grenada. Philip's experience in running, with his family, 'The Talbot', an inn located in Worcestershire, has put him in good stead for this new venture. The restaurant at the Talbot Inn is renowned for it's imaginative flair and emphasis on wholesome flavour and the use of organic locally grown foods.
Annie's experience gained whilst chef and hostess of their yacht, along with her natural social skills will ensure all visitors to Petite Anse feel relaxed and welcome.
The project consists of ten individual cottage style bedrooms, each with its own deck and bathroom, and all literally, within a coconut throw of the beach. The topography of the land is such that the bar and restaurant sit on a pinnacle of land directly overlooking the ocean.
Fresh produce for the restaurant will be grown in the fruit and vegetable gardens at the old plantation house just above the resort, where Philip and Annie live. What is not produced on site will be sourced from known local producers. The aim of the restaurant being to produce an imaginative menu using seasonal local produce.
